                         THE FULL DETAILS OF A LION

                       

A  LION is a large canivorous animal that belongs to the cat family. it is a wild animal. Some weigh as much as 25kg or more. it is a flesh eating animal and is the strongest and fiercest of all flesh eating animals. The lion has a majesty figure and is called the king of all beast.

The size of a full grown lion is 10 to 12 feet. it has very large and heavy head and hair which covered on its neck called mane. it has strong paws with sharp claws. it also has a long tail. The female lion is called a lioness and it is smaller. The lion lives up to sixty years.

The lion can be found in Africa, Arabia, and India. it leaves in the grassland and some areas with grass and trees. it does not near villages or cities. it often hides itself near some springs where it hunts its prey it makes a loud roar and its footprints are known as pugmarks. 

Lions live in groups that are groups that are called pride. 10 to 20 may live in a pride. There are two or more lioness who do the hunting in a pride. They give birth to young ones called cubs after 3 1/2 months. The male patrol and protect the pride.

Lion love to rest and relax. They spend a lot of time rubbing heads, purring, licking each other, sleeping and resting.
